An Experienced Advocate

I will be your voice at City Hall advocating for transparency, fiscal responsibility, improved constituent services and increased funding to repair our broken roads.

As your voice on the City Council, you can expect that I’ll be prepared to ask the questions you want asked and to seek accountability. Below are some of the key issues you have told me to tackle as I travel across District 8, meeting with you in your homes and communities.

Transportation and Infrastructure

As your Councilmember, I will work to secure our fair share of funding to repair numerous pot holes and decaying infrastructure. I will also support regional transportation alternatives, including MARTA, while advocating for increased funding for walking/bike trails and sidewalks.

Public Safety

I will support incentives to recruit and retain the best and brightest fire and police personnel. I will also partner with the Atlanta Public Schools to reduce juvenile crime by improving educational opportunities and creating effective after-school programs that will help combat adolescent crime.

Grow the Economy

I will encourage quality businesses to locate in Atlanta and support tax incentives along with reducing bureaucracy for small businesses, allowing them to grow, prosper and create jobs.

Fiscal Accountability

As your Councilmember, I will work towards an efficient City Hall, one that maintains a balanced budget while finding ways to eliminate waste.

A City That Works

I will make sure City Hall works for you by sweeping streets, enforcing codes and maintaining clean, safe parks.

Good Government

When you contact City Hall, I will work to ensure that you are greeted with the highest quality customer service and that city government is being run in an ethical, transparent way which restores trust.

Keep the Momentum

Remaining connected to you will be my top priority. I’ll continue to hold town hall meetings, communicate with you online and remain accessible.

Your generous contribution will help us effectively communicate with our neighbors. I want to thank you in advance for your support and look forward to being your voice at City Hall.
